Early on

I have been an animal lover since as long as I can remember. I have been caring for animals since my first pet betta, Rainbow. But my first dog, Kramer, the Bichon Frise, is what really started it all. As a ten-year-old girl, I spent days at the public library checking out every possible dog book you could think of. I wanted to fully grasp not only behavioral traits, personalities, possible medical conditions, maintenance but the history behind all breeds. Why was this so important to a ten-year-old girl? Because I wanted to ensure as long as I could get my dad on board with this decision, I would be able to help find the perfect match for my family. Kramer was with us for nearly 16 years, and he was the reason my love for animals grew to become so much more than even I could imagine.

Current

My experience with pet care has really blossomed over the past 5 years, where I spent the last as a General Manager at a very busy doggy daycare, spa and boarding company. But I recently made the decision to quit my position to further build my own business in the pet care industry that is not limited to just dogs. Why did I make this decision? My current dog Gus-Gus. He made me realize that some pets just don’t thrive in an open play, daycare or boarding environment. Sometimes private care is the only option. Not to mention, there are so many services out there for dogs, but what about cats, chickens and pigs? That’s where I come in!
